SolarAID is a UK charity specialising in solar energy for poor countries.

The lack of access to affordable electricity is one major cause of poverty in e.g. Africa. This is why SolarAid focuses mainly on these regions, using solar power for education and health. SolarAid helps to combat on poverty on the one hand, on the other hand on climate change. Both simply by bringing clean, renewable power to the poorest people in the world.

Fighting poverty ? - solar power can enable poor people to cook food, pump clean water, run fridges, light homes, schools and hospitals, farm more effectively, and much more -what I like on this issue is providing a sustainable way out of poverty for entrepreneurial people, for example through micro-franchising...

und die Freiheit zu handeln!

...die Freiheit zu handeln bedeutet lediglich, mit der Tradition des Abwartens und der Fremdbestimmung zu brechen. Sie bedeutet, für ein paar Jahre den Appel "Wir müssen etwas tun!" zu ignorieren...und das Tun tun.

Handlungsfreiheit ist eine Haltung. Das Motiv des Handelnden bestimmt sie ebenso wie das Ergebnis der Handlung. Beides ist Verantwortung. Und Verantwortung ist eine anerkannt positiv bewertete Größe. Diese ist weder an ein 13. Monatsgehalt noch eine Hackordnung gebunden, nicht an Tarife, nicht an verbriefte Rechte und schon gar nicht an die Gewohnheit.  Wie laufen die Dinge? - So.

Brainstorming, Recherchieren, erste Anläufe, Schritt für Schritt, Learning by doing, Enttäuschungen einstecken, Scheitern, erneut Kraft tanken, neue Wege suchen, Versuch wagen, Lösungen finden, Höhenflüge erleben, Ansätze weiter verfolgen, mit anderen Ideen flirten, kreativ denken, Freude erfahren, Innovation zulassen...und nach harter Arbeit einen Durchbruch erlangen.

so, endlich wieder mal ein Lebenszeichen von meiner Seite...die kleine feine BlogPause musste mal sein!
Die Studienpause beschränkt sich endlich mal auf die Wochenenden, und ja, das ist schon was für uns berufsbegleitende Studenten. Was kann man als Wasserratte in den heimischen Gefilden also Besseres anstellen, als am Jetlake mal so richtig den Sommerlaunen zu frönen!

Herrlich. Ist zwar schon wieder 2 Wochen her, dennoch kann man von einem perfekten Wochenende noch lange zehren! In Feldkirchen an d. Donau konnte man seit letztem Jahr einiges Neues entdecken! Abgesehen vom Wakeboardlift inkl. Obstacles (Pussy Box,..0ha) war ich völlig fasziniert vom landschaftsgärtnerisch-getunten "Motorikpark". Also, dort fängt das Trockentraining für den ambitionierten Wassersportler an! Ein Besuch am Jetlake zahlt sich auch für sonstige sommerliche "rund-um-Wasser-Aktivitäten" voll aus!

Den Photostream gibts auf Flickr, für diejenigen unter Euch, die auch im Binnenland die Meerluft vermissen, aber dennoch nach improvisierten Watersports Ausschau halten!

so, die blended learning aufgabe in joomla -wie erstell ich einen newsletter - ist nun mal erledigt, die feinarbeit kommt noch später...positiv fand ich die info, die während des beitrag-verfassens für diese übung auftauchte...Bus, Beach & Beats Festival, wenn das mal nicht die Ohren schlackern lässt!

"Zu Packen" hab mir zwar auch noch nicht die Zeit genommen, noch wo und wie und warum und überhaupt dieses Festival zustandekommt, leider passt es auch noch überhaupt nicht ins Konzept...und deshalb wird mal der Flyer für das longterm-motivation-Sommerfeeling herhalten.-> denn was man strategisch versäumt, muss man operativ ausbaden!!!

..nur ins Kino zu setzen und "Pirates of the Caribbean - At World´s End" ansehen, nope, reicht nicht!

...in Erinnerungen an die karibische See schwelgend, und nur "Enter´N" drücken reicht auch noch nicht!

Erst das Spiel macht den Fan zum Freibeuter! (für alle "Next Gen"-Konsolenbesitzer - PS3, PS2, Xbox360, Wii)

Würde da gern mal den Remote-Controller der Nintendo Wii bei den Säbelkämpfen ausprobieren...

& für das karibische Gefühl während des Spiels hätte ich schon ein paar andere Ideen:

• Rum-Kanonenkugel! - 100g Butterschmalz schmelzen, 100g Puderzucker und 5 EL Kakao unterrühren, 100g geriebene Mandeln, 1 EL Dosenmilch, 2 EL Rum dazu, Kühlen, Kugel formen, in Schokostreusel wälzen. Aye?
• und mit Piratenflagge &
• Augenklappe in die Piratenwirklichkeit eintauchen!

Vielleicht ergibt sich im Winter mal die Möglichkeit in die virtuelle Welt einzutauchen? (we will see) Den brasilanischen Rum jedoch könnte man sich unter VIVA A VIDA bestellen, obwohl dort (krass!) auch "normale Güter" bestellt werden können !

For example, if you want to visit a BarCamp/GreenCamp, taking place in SanFrancisco, California, but didn't want to pay for a hotel, you could search for a couchsurfer host in California who would be willing to give you a couch or bed in their home (for free) for a night, and perhaps show you some sights too!
